I love this place! I have been frequenting The Harrow occasionally for the last 17 years and it has always been one of my favourites. There is a 'restaraunt' type area that serves traditional pub grub at a fair price with a large 'pub' area on the other side of the pub to gather and get merry. The staff are always really polite and have a laugh and joke with you.
The garden is big with enough good size (and most importantly stable) tables including big sun shade umbrellas. Children are allowed with the usual pre requisites. -

The Harrow is a nice pub which operates an over 21s policy. The inside is tidy, looks quite fresh and modern. The Harrow also has outside seating which is great for warm summer days.
People of a mixture of areas come here to enjoy a drink and some food. The food is good, I've never had any problems with the food and have always enjoyed what I've ordered. My friend once ordered the steak and asked for it well done, she was disappointed that it came out still medium.
I did love the open fireplace when we arrived on a really chilly day, it was lovely to sit next to. -

The Harrow is owned by Ember Inns and anyone that has frequented them, knows that they have set menus but the quality of the meals can differ depending on how accomplished the cook/chef is.
The pubs patrons are are a wide mix with a good mix of young and old, the former tend to use this pub to meet up prior to going out to a club.
The pub does have a beer garden and unfortunately its dilapidated state doesn't entice you to sit out. This condition is also reflected inside, but there are visible signs that the manager and staff do try to maintain it to an acceptable standard, but this tends to stop short of the toilets, well the gents to be precise, as over the years they have made several attempts to revamp them, which doesn't last long. i can only put the blame on the combination of; men, excess of alcohol and the inability to pee straight, but that doesn't explain how hand driers and taps become separated from their fixings.
NB: They also hold Physic evenings every second wednesday of the month.
